In the Nadir with Ray-drenched Cinder

I've searched the forum and can't find an answer. I got into the Nadir. I went insane numerous times to get the 5 Eyeless Skulls for the Cinder. When I go back to the Nadir still nothing happens. Is there some other object I need to take with me? What am I doing wrong?

Not sure what the problem is. Is your location actually 'Cave of the Nadir' (in which case you are past the point where you need the cinder)?
If not, what storylets do you see in the Forgotten Quarter? If you go to your 'Myself' tab, scroll down to the Qualities list, and open up the 'Route' list, what number do you have against 'Route:The Cave of the Nadir'?

If you go into your inventory and click on one of the eyeless skulls it will take you to a page where you can exchange 5 of them for a Ray-Drenched Cinder.

The storylet in the Forgotten Quarter for entering the Nadir should also have an option to exchange them.
