And DONE this morning. 225 confessions accepted (if you have been denied, the odd are 95% you sent duplicate and hopefully <5% mistake and I am deeply apologies about this)
Thank you very very much for your selfless acts of dedicating actions to total strangers in order to help them complete the confessions.
Very heart warming!
The fact that one cannot see and assess the amount of confessions above 50 in the inbox tab really took me off guard.

AAAAAAAND that's a wrap, volunteers! Hallowmas is over, which means the Charitable Soup placewherefoodisprepared is closing down for the year!
Laughs were had, terrible poetry was attempted, puns were used and abused (lastcorn, I am so sorry. You could almost call me corntrite) and a fair few people got to experience the joys of our famous mercury minestrone and strychnine 'beef' stew! The cyanide 'chicken' noodle also remained popular as ever, I am pleased to say. We even branched out our services to include scandal-inducing consommés and bisques; I am personally very proud of the blemmigan beak broth, whose hallucinogenic properties caused many an awkward public humiliation! (I've put it down on the menu as Luxuriant Sensational Demi-Glace, or LSD for short. Very effective stuff. We must be sure to offer it next year as well).
Corngratulations everyone on all your hard work. I think the greatest pleasure for me was making the discovery that I was having just as much Hallowmas fun sending out menaces as August, as I was sending out confession requests as Kivrin. Which is magical when you think about it; we managed to enjoy the holiday in a way that was never originally intended- by menacing as many people as possible!
Thank you everyone who participated. I've had the most fantastic time, and I hope you all have too! Now let's close the shutters on our little placewherefoodisprepared,noMalIdon'tmeantakeout,webrewourownhere and go grind some Night Whispers for Christmas.
(P.S. I'm a little relieved things wound down when they did, as August was running short of puns. I didn't think it would ever happen, but he appears quite verbally cornstipated. How disgraceful).

Haha. Nice wrap-up, Kivrin. I too had fun menacing the community. I would not be at all surprised if charitable choking and selfless slandering becomes an integral, mechanical part of next year's Hallowmas!
Perhaps a new action on the Attract Visitor's card? Wherein those bereft of confessions can Trick fellow revellers for some small Spirit of Hallowmas gains.

I would like to add my thanks to those of the president of our fine room-where-food-is-prepared to all the volunteers who pitched in to spread, uh, hmm, can't exactly call it "cheer and goodwill" now, can we? Well, anyway. The number of prominent citizens who broke 1000 or 500 spirit was doubtless increased by our concerted effort. Combined with the efforts of NiteBrite and others who organized confessions, I think we may safely say that we exceeded the expectations of the devs to no small degree. I hope next year to see again the doors of the Excellent Soup room-where-food-is-prepared flung wide to assist our fellow denizens in achieving their Hallomas dreams. With kindest regards;
