Ware Reefs?

Ok, so I'm on my 10th captain here. And I somehow managed to find an area that I have never seen before, called the Ware Reefs. Has anyone else found this area and if so why do you think I have only just found it now. Is it like the giant spooky eye tile, where it only appears occasionally? It's a really cool area and I really hope a port or story is going to be added there in the near future.

It's a blank tile that shows up interminably, like the one where you cross an invisible meridian of the world. Quite pleasant, but there's no ports.

I've crossed the meridians frequently in the (also) 10 Captains I've had and even found the Eye (dagnabbit, but that was standalone, I have to also find that on Stream to get the Achievement for credit....) So since this is new to me, allow me to ask:
(Apologies for the unintended punery sound of this question, but--) Where are the Ware Reefs (AKA "The Dark Unterzee"?) If like the Eye they move, what Tile range do they show up in?

I've only had them show up once, but they were on the tile diagonal from the Kingeater's tile. They're cool and spiky, ya can't miss em.

Aha! Thanks! For some reason, I wrote them off as a Kingeater "extension." Dur! Very cool indeed!
