I recently installed Sunless Sea on my laptop through Steam. I don't get any sound in the game. With other steam games the sound is working fine.
I've checked the audio menu, started the game in compatibility mode, de- and reinstalled it several times, didn't help. Does anyone have any advice?

Cochimetl went North, and beyond. No poems, only candlelight now. (Well, maybe one poem.)
The Gun-Toting Gallivanter, after an extended absence, is back in London again.

I have had a similar problem with a completely different game, i suggest checking that your laptop has all the system requirements to run the game and try installing it on a different computer to see if it works then, best of luck in all your endevours

Is there some readson you are not Contacting Failbetter Support instead of here where it could be overlooked by Failbetter? (Also, as noted in that post itself, Failbetter seems to notice and post more support-related threads in Steam than here if gambling they will notice thread-support topics like this, but it's still better to contact them directly as per that post.)
