I've got the oddest idea that I didn't actually encounter the drownie when I did this the first time.
What's the most ribons you can actually get, how many can you kill off permenelty enough to take a ribbon and make yourself more feared?

I think you can get 3 Ribbons. Madison has two right now, and she's yet to kill Vendrick. None of the other duelists die permanently.

You encounter a drownie to get your first ribbon. And you can straight up kill them to increase your Bringer of Death.

I have three Black Ribbons already, and Vendrick's still around, so I guess four.

It would seem so. I just noticed that Delmar has 2 Ribbons without having taken care of either the Drownie or Vendrick (meaning that he'll get 4 after I've taken care of those two again). I wonder if the extra ribbons will disappear at some point.

hopefully not, i'm proud of romeo-ing this handsome couple twice, and it is quite a shame if i don't get to keep the tokens for it. (romeo being inducing the suicide/death of the male, who believes the female is dead.)
