Journal Entries, how?

Ever since I started I've been seeing random journal entries in the top-right corner of the page. Now, my question is, how do I record specific events in my journal? So far I have only seen the option to record the random snippets on the mid-right side of the page.

I had difficulty getting the button to "record this in your journal" to appear in the past on certain browsers; I also discovered that adblockers will sometimes remove the button to "record this in your journal." If you're using one, try turning it off and seeing if that helps.

Ah, I see. Rather than turning off adblocker outright, I've simply excluded the site from it. Thanks.
