I accidentally started the Tomb of the Seven expedition with only 31 supplies. It requires 30. Two clicks in I'm down to 29 supplies and 0 Archaeologist's Progress. I cannot succeed in this, right? Is there a way I can abandon the expedition? I don't want to waste time, actions, and supplies for no purpose. I don't see any option to abandon it. What do I do now? Thanks in advance.

Nope. Once the expedition train leaves its station there is no stopping it or turning back. It has to run its course before you can start a new one.

If you get a Sign a few times you can salvage this. Keep spamming the 1 Supply option and hope for the best.
