What is the best way to end with 8/8 ? Getting lucky on the cards that give both? Getting one or the other up high and then converting some?

Getting 8/8 is really tricky, as the cards with skill checks increase one at the expense of the other. This means you're stuck on luck checks and can't discard your way to the better payoff if the RNG isn't on your side. I think your best odds would be exclusively playing The Masked Man and hoping for the best, but those aren't great odds.
