I was foolish enough to absentmindedly move forward in the story without exploring the option to ask "This is why you came to the Neath?" to the Missionary and Firebrand (http://fallenlondon.wikia.com/wiki/%22This_is_why_you_came_to_the_Neath%3F%22) in the meeting in the lodgings.
