Is this possible? For example, inviting a friend to join you on a hunt, then a test to see if it's successful which uses both characters traits? If so, how would I do it?

I don't think that's possible - at least, not in an intuitive way.

One thing I've been playing with is using social acts just to set a "marker" quality (in my case called The Sting Of Defeat or The Flush Of Success), which then triggers a Must storylet which gives you various options that test qualities in the normal way. So it's possible you could do something along those lines to achieve what you want. But in terms of applying a formula which uses both players' qualities as variables, no, I don't think you can do that.

Cheers

Edited to remove those random bullets the forum seems determined to put in everywhere - drat, I'm such a perfectionist.
