It Time the Healer acting up? When I got my earnest of payment today and checked my messages, it said "...because it's lower than 17 Wounds has dropped..." Two weeks ago, it said "because it's lower than 11 You've lost a quality:Wounds." I recall that the value was usually 5, or at least around that. Does anyone know what's going on?

I think you're connecting unrelated lines. The full text reads something like:
Memory fades; pain departs; rewards arrive! [You may have a Professional Payment waiting at your Lodgings; wounds and other hazards have faded, as has your reputation in the public eye. You may also have received Fleeting Recollections, which will allow you to remove Irrigo, if you have any.] A Connoisseur of Neathy Delights hasn't changed, because it's lower than 10 Notability hasn't changed, because it's lower than 17 You now have 1 of this: 'An Earnest of Payment' You've gained 1 x Professional Perks (new total 3). Nightmares is dropping... Suspicion is dropping... You've lost a quality: Scandal. You now have 5 of this: 'Free Evening' An occurrence! Your 'Making Waves' Quality is now 8!
Menace drops aren't dependent on any other qualities, so the "lower than 17/11" lines are most likely a reference to your Making Waves / Notability. It's a bit weird that it's ordered like that, though. For me the Earnest of Payment and Professional Perks separate the Notability stuff from the Menace drops.
