Maybe nobody has seen it yet? If it's a Rare card it might take a little while before more people get it. What does it look like? I drew an opportunity card after siding with the PB but I emptied my hand before I could try the options on it.
From memory, the card was called "A nightmare" (requiring Nightmares 5) with two options: 1) listen to your clock (sounds like it could reduce your nightmares) and 2) follow the drums from the Prince-Bishop (requiring Dangerous 110)
Ah, so it might be worth raising my Nightmares back up to see if I can draw it. Thanks for letting me know!

The story itself is enough of a reward, in my opinion. I wouldn't like it if each monthly-story gave an unique item. What is important in FL are stories, not material things. Well, that's how I see it.
I am in complete agreement with this. It just doesn't feel necessary. It certainly doesn't feel disingenuous to me for stories that cost the same amount to have varying levels of material reward, or for a story to drain (cheap, easily replaced) items and not offer something unique in return.

For what it's worth, the two stories we have so far feel very experimental and refreshing compared to regular ultra padding delay storylet. The financial reward are pretty good unless you are capped, too.
I will not touch the Rubbery Murders again even if they upped the reward to 20000x Deep Amber.

Ah ha! I knew (or at least strongly suspected :-D) there would be a linked opportunity card. So I suppose I'll continue to delay the final decision until all 2 (or 3?) of those have been thoroughly explored.

I have that card in an alt's hand right now and...
It's a gold-bordered, undiscardable card that requires Nightmares 5; the second option requires Dangerous 100, but unfortunately my alt's 2000+ CP short of that and I don't think I could keep their Nightmares over 5 for that long. Here's the card and first option, though: http://fallenlondon.storynexus.com/Profile/dup?fromEchoId=5855356 http://fallenlondon.storynexus.com/Profile/dup?fromEchoId=5855382
Does anybody know if there's special requirements to draw the Viscountess's card? Also Nightmares 5, or maybe something else? I'd like to maximize my chances for drawing it.

As a new player, I really enjoyed the story, especially the portrayal of the relationship between the two litigants.

Hm, it's actually really hard to attain Nightmares 5 if you're capped in Watchful, so I don't know yet if option 3 gives any card.

If you don't have a starveling cat you can put on a sporing bonnet and chug full tinctures of vigor. You don't even have to buy the tinctures if you grind them in the labyrinth of tigers (the rare success there is amazing). edited by NiteBrite on 6/3/2015

Thank you! I don't suppose you could echo (even on an unrelated storylet) what the rewards for that choice were? (Alternatively, I'd be grateful for a PM.)

Finally pulled the PB card on my main. Card is 'very infrequent'. I took the Dangerous option.

Has anyone yet discovered if there's an opportunity card associated with the third party? If so, does it also require nightmares?

Interesting...
the V and PB rewards from their respective opportunity cards are of similar value, but slightly different. (And the quality you take a hit to will be different as well)
edited by Televangelist on 6/4/2015
