Orphanage predicament

Need some help with the Orphanage: I've got to the Burn or Not Burn scenario but it requires the Roof Key which I don't have and I can't find any way back to get it (presumably I should have got it at some earlier point). Is there any way to re-trace my steps? Has anyone else got to this point and then got past it? I've spent ages getting my Shadowy to the level I need to make progress without getting trapped in the coffin and I'm really cheesed off that I now seem to be at a dead end (no pun intended!)

You should have gotten a key from this card in the Orphanage. It's been a while since I've been there, but if you can't draw cards and you can't leave I would definitely submit a bug report to support@failbettergames.com to get this sorted out.
