So i've finally gathered up a corresponding ocelot, an ocular toadbeast, a slavering dream hound, and an obdurate stallion.
I'm of the understanding that i should be able to do something with these four at some point. But how ?

You'll need to complete the University story before you can breed them all. That option is part of the scientific expeditions.

If you are trying to get a different creature and if I remember correctly you also need a Hound of Heaven and some Research notes from the scientific expedition. The next stage will appear in your lodgings.
