These areas appear in the early versions of the map, but not in the final game. I'm guessing they were cut out - I suppose I just want to know if there are any concrete plans to revisit or reimplement these spaces or if they're gone for good? It's wishful thinking, but I sure would love to have more places to explore on the zee.

To be fair, Mr Tanah-Chook, before I went north to Venderbight I heard YOU were a mere zailor's legend... :P

That's a good point. I do remember seeing a dazzling group of what I could only imagine to be fabulously-dressed bats at one time near the Crying Heights.

  • The Milliner-Bats are something. I hope we find out what the backstory is behind them at some point.

There are still two Generic Tiles ... maybe sometime they will become the Sea of Wings and the Deconstruction.

Also I'm sure that I read somewhere that it might be possible for Failbetter to extend the map eastwards if they want.

Sorry RL means I am not a very active player at the moment. No social actions unless you are prepared to wait and definitely no sparring or other mult-action things.

No Calling Cards or boxed cats please. Will take dupes on the affluent photographers. Other social invitations welcome. Parabolan Kittens usually available, send me an in-game social action saying you want one and I will get one to you as soon as possible.

Alternatively, I wonder if these places became the Crying Heights (with their winged foes) and the Sea of Statues (which are in ruins). I can't remember which islands were implemented when those names were still part of the game.
