Selling your soul: worth the cost and effort?

Hello people. So, I sometimes get the selling one's soul card for City Vices, and I was wondering if it were worth the effort and cost of selling one's soul for the POSI price. I know you get a Valuable item for doing so, but it recently became harder to reobtain said soul. I was wondering if it was worth the effort to sell, attempt to reclaim either by fate or by packages, and rinse and repeat.
Note, I'm NOT just talking about Echoes per action, though feel free to add that as well.
