Apparently, this isn't the most beautiful colour to read. I like to think that the extra effort makes you value the content more (effort justification). But maybe it's just a pain to read.

Red is obviously the best colour. It's also the only nice one not already pinched by someone else. (I'd settle for green, but tiger-beats-human.)

So: is there a shade of red that's definitely not pink that you would find easier to read, but also doesn't look like I'm about to explode with rage? Let me know. (Please)

Or persuade me there's another colour almost as nice as red.

Or don't, and read this as is. :-)

Too close to Chris'? This is Chris.

Hmm. HMMM.

I must admit that the contrast between that shade of red and the black background does make it difficult to read so maybe try a brighter red. But as colours are for Admin and Moderators on the forum I will leave it to you to experiment to find the one you like. At the moment I just highlight your messages so that I can read them smile

Sorry RL means I am not a very active player at the moment. No social actions unless you are prepared to wait and definitely no sparring or other mult-action things.

No Calling Cards or boxed cats please. Will take dupes on the affluent photographers. Other social invitations welcome. Parabolan Kittens usually available, send me an in-game social action saying you want one and I will get one to you as soon as possible.

It's fine. Just don't disgrace the orange. People have come to expect a certain standard of erudition and dignity from this orange. They associate it with refinement, with sophistication, with class-WHO IS LAUGHING?

I like these three! They're nice and bright and readable.

The Failbetter office is a constant battle of red vs blue these days. (Not really. Our only battle is trying to convince our building to let us have an office dog, and we're on the same side.)

While I am a big fan of red, it always makes me think I've down something wrong. 'Please see me!'
How about a nice calming green?
But if you must, i'll choose the 5th line 'Or don't, and read this as is. :-)' but in your colour red :p.
I also note the forum wants me to spell colour as color!

Edit: no green for you! Only the Tiger can use green. (Sorry for tempting you, we ask users not to use colours so FBG's employees' post stand out.)

Shame on me, didn't notice your post was in a gradient. I liked the shade in "persuade me"

It wasn't, originally. I returned to impose my genius upon it.

I'm now vacillating between these two.

  • I like this one. It does not hurt and it does not annoy ... so probably not best if you want to send hurtful annoying messages. ;-)

This is the shade in which my brain sees Correspondence. If you want the heady power to set books alight with more than six characters, then this is the color for you.
