My character specialises in wachful and dangerous. And for the latter skill, i've been levelling and using i heavily in the labyrinth of tigers, where i can get a little of just about anything through thew theological husbandry.

With my watchful skill on the other hand, i've finished the university, and am "rewarded" with the complete removal of all the interesting options i had before, and had them replaced with a single option "Growing Pains". Sure it's a slightly more efficient grind for cryptic clues, but i feel pretty cheated for all my hard work in investigating.

If i wanted to be persuasive i have a ton of things to do at the palace and court, and for shadowy i have the flit, heists, and mahogany hall

What's left for a watchful character? I feel like i've just dropped into a big nothing

After investigating the murder at the University, the University carousel ends. That's where the content has been for about 5 years.
After that, if you're looking for Watchful challenges, you can visit the Scientific Expedition Islands in the Unterzee. Or Investigate Wilmot's End. And The Foreign Office. And the Cave of Nadir.
There are plenty of storylets awaiting you for your Watchful skill.
From your mantelpiece, it looks like you've got plenty more content to explore.
Give it some time and you'll find you really don't miss the University carousel.

can you give a little more detail on this? i'm not quite finding it on the wiki

xKiv is talking about the War of Assassins carousel. Some of the options on that Carousel (in the Flit) require a high Watchful to pass with 100%.

Certainly it would be a little more friendly if the early cards at the university are available again at the end, it'll also feel more natural for that matter.

Also the watchful branch of lethal prominence, making searing enigmas, and making impossible theorems. Of which only the first one is actually profitable.

You are able to get back into the University later on, so its content is not lost forever.

The Court, however, you CAN be locked out of forever. So be careful there.

Get yourself an Übergoat and rush through expeditions in the Forgotten Quarter at a buccaneering pace without risk of failure and without having to use Sudden Insights? I think that's the 'endgame content' for Watchful. Should pay more than 52 x Cryptic Clue per Action at any rate. (Which doesn't seem that impressive compared to delaying one's University investigations forever and ever...)

Can play chess with the boatman, that very quickly ramps up in difficulty until it's a point where its challenging even for stat capped people.
