i guess that's the return of the Poison-Masquerading-As-Wounds-Heal to some extent then, in that it's something that appears benevolent that hurts horribly

they're probably less jerks than the saboteur boxes I dunno
their resale price is only 10 echoes for some reason that's weird

Yeah, I basically just hocked everything I had laying around so I could get more rats, because rats rats RATS rats rats. These mercenaries are cool, and useful, but Hammet (RF Bandit Chief) is still in charge, and they'd better not forget it.

I use Bizarre for map pieces, as they're pretty good PPA at Bizarre 10.
I use Dreaded for heists and my marsh-wolf (marsh-wolf gives whisper-satin scraps, which are a necessity when mapping)
So for me having +10 in both those can be just as convenient as getting +'es in dangerous/watchful/shadowy/persuasive, as I don't have as much use them when stat-capped in dangerous/shadowy.
