Probably a very basic question, but how DOES one send a gift? Someone just sent me a bag of very delicious things (see: rats), and I wish to return the favor with a gift of my own. Unfortunately, I'm currently bumbling around my messages, friends, and lodgings, trying to find anything that looks like it might result in sending a gift. No luck so far.
Any advice?

It's an opportunity card. There are other cards and stories throughout the game that can be used to send items to other players, and they are all accessed the same as other standard actions.
