Yeah, I broke down and pulled out Excel... 0.007378698%
The good news is that others have quite recently gotten one so most likely the chance has just been lowered quite a bit.

Urthdigger just took the tokens I stole back from Petter, but I did invite anyone in the pact to take them. Sorry Ciel, looks like he was faster.

No need to apologise. I did't have a card to take them, and I'm not really comfortable stealing tokens anyway.

Sorry RL means I am not a very active player at the moment. No social actions unless you are prepared to wait and definitely no sparring or other mult-action things.
No Calling Cards or boxed cats please. Will take dupes on the affluent photographers. Other social invitations welcome. Parabolan Kittens usually available, send me an in-game social action saying you want one and I will get one to you as soon as possible.

I was honestly surprised to get them, given how long it was since you announced it. On the plus side, I now have St. Cerise's Candle, with Little The's donation being the only theft I made. See, it IS possible to get the candle without being a dick. Well... not a TOTAL dick anyway. I did take advantage of a few things to make myself extra "prickly" and able to hit folks back harder than they hit me.
Now that I don't have to worry so much about staying at Elusive 150, I'm going to see if I can work on the mystery of the lady handing out prize tokens. Maybe experiment with other aspects of K&C I ignored to focus on farming tokens.

Wait, how do you get Elusive 150? Does the top-tier medal give +40 or something? o_O

Using lots and lots of Exotica items, I'd imagine.

Well, since I don't have to worry about folks taking advantage of loopholes in my plan, I can reveal it. Yes, I took advantage of exotica items. It took me quite some time to do, but I found that if you remove all exotica items from your inventory, the exotica cards come up quite often. This does have the side effect of polarizing your results. While my Elusive attacks had pretty much a 100% success rate, at the same time attacks against me (Primarily baroque, with the occasional savage) were almost assured. Although, I wager if I'd gone a while longer, my baroque would have approached the average of folks who were attacking me. Due to that, I'd say to do this for savage or elusive.
Compelled to make this as victimless as possible, I used my huge list of social contacts (Ironically the same thing that made it borderline impossible to proceed early on due to getting stabbed way too often) to find folks who had abandoned the game by sending them helpful social actions (Mostly second chance stuff) and marking the ones who never accepted after a month. Those were the only individuals I "farmed". To discourage folks from attacking me, I'd retaliate until they lost more than they gained (So, typically just one more attack than they gave me). I'd use my messages to try and make it clear I'm not going on a war path, and that if they leave me alone I will not go after them. Most got the hint.
Also, it helps to be antisocial to do this. I dropped out of the game for a while due to frustration with K&C, and hatched this plan upon my return. While I did eventually return to the forums, I tried not to tell too many folks I was still working on K&C, and tried to mention quite a few times how I felt Cerise's was currently impossible. The less people thought I was collecting tokens, the better. That is another reason to target long-forgotten accounts: They tell no tales.
I managed to acquire 34 tokens on my own, with Little The supplying the final 10 and some change. I'm not gonna lie, it took months to do that. Also, while the new prize tokens going out is hopeful, it seems to be tied to a living story... so currently away players won't be getting more. Hence the research. I'm sure if we can find the trick to generating tokens, those of us who no longer need the candle can help those who do. After all, my plan DID leave me with some major loopholes one can exploit for an easy win...

But don't they have to make moves for you to get their token?

Ooh, I'll join the Saint Cerise exposé party. I too got the candle without ever using the betrayal option- my perspective is that the betrayal games are negative sum, so the only winning move for everyone is not to play.
Fortunately, thus far there's always been an out. For prize tokens, it's simple: nobody can take all your prize tokens if you don't have Saint Arthur's Candle. And once you have a Waxwail Knife, it can't be taken from you unless you join the Iron League, enter a Moon League duel without using Flight to the Flit, or perhaps die. So you trade in for the Knife before you finish Saint Arthur, get Arthur and Beau without doing any of those things, and then cash out.
(And if you already have the candle? You'd have to either give up the quest to lose it, or use an alt and transfer the knife by throwing a Moon League duel.)
So then you're free to gather prize tokens at your leisure. Urthdigger's strategy is a good one; I chose the simpler way of hiding in the Moon League, only making myself vulnerable long enough to launch a new wave of attacks. That's inefficient, since you have to waste a lot of your K&C actions to regain your Form, but eventually it worked.

Interesting tactics. Congratulations on managing to find a way to get St Cerise without betraying any one.

In my Ratmas enthusiasm I became slightly abominable, leaving myself open to attack (and I didn't even send it to the right Alexis! drat). bjorntfh took advantage, hithing 7 of my enigmas. I'm no longer abominable, and I don't intend to become so any time soon, but I'd be happy to see someone take them back from him.

I'll admit, in my search for St Cerise I did not come close to the high road some people did. I used Enigmas without regret or guilt, though I made sure to never betray the agreement. However, it became difficult due to not having good sources of Enigmas for a while, as well as the fact that whenever I manged to carefully build up a decent cache of prize tokens, someone would betray me, and then either apparently have enough for the Waxwail Knife, or flee London, as I stopped seeing them in the list.
For a while I became somewhat despondent, and even considered dropping out of the Search. Thankfully, however, the fates smiled upon me. I still had a few tokens, and while I wasn't really seeking out new ones, I made sure to always strike back against those who toke them from me, which usually didn't get me anymore than had been taken. However, due to grinding them from turning Thirsty Bombazine into Puzzle-Damaske, (as well as a round of grinding up Uncanny Incunabulae), I had a fair stockpile of Enigmas. And then striking back against someone who toke mine, instead of getting my few 6 back, got me 22. And I realized for the first time, I had both a good amount of tokens and enough Enigmas to potentially get there. Then when I hit dov (Sorry! It wasn't anything personal, I wanted to say, you were just the first one on my list who wasn't in the agreement at the time!) I got something like 24, and happened to have Restitution in my hand... so Candle!
