I failed to notice that there are different flavours of Hallowmas Companions. Since they all share the same artwork, I thought they were the same. And now I am VERY annoyed because of this fact.

I mean, bl__dy hell, how difficult can it be to change a background colour? You can do that even without the source material!

Same difficulty as realizing they are different companions without using Google.

I missed out on any benefits from "A Rainbow of offerings", having saved it for a rainy day, because I didn't realise it would disappear once I specialised.

I just managed to **** up royally
On the mobile version of the site I wanted to write a letter. I clicked "Change Profession" just as I had reached Glassman yesterday... There should be a (0) next to it so you can still change your mind when you want to switch professions...
This is the second time I hit that option by accident

Honeyaddict, Scarlet Saint, Paramount Presence
pleasure to meet you.

Has some ideas the Masters won't approve of like some items and establishing a Colony in Parabola.

I will accept most social interactions (not duping). I do enjoy role playing as well.
Have some possibly still active codes!

I am preparing for a post-Christmas sprint to SotC 41. I have Darkdrop, I have mood cards, I have supplies, I have A Dream of Blood...

...wait. No I don't. I just misclicked and discarded it.

On the Last Constable/Cheery Man... I wanted to wait until the Feast of the Exceptional Rose to get a certain companion, before finishing the storyline. But I forgot all about this. Whoops. I guess I'm locked out forever from that companion. =(

And I've wasted two Pails of So-Called Snow because I didn't read the guide beforehand.

I lost all my notability on a misclick AGAIN. I freaking HATE this crap. I put all this frigging work into something only to lose it because when you draw a card several times every day you're bound to make a mistake one time and then it's all gone and you're SOL. God I'm so freaking angry right now I could put my fist through my screen.

Embarassing: I forgot that one of the Mr. Sacks options cost Persuasive, and I now have Persuasive 214. Since I've already got Paramount Presence, that's not a huge loss -- but at some stage, I'm going to have to grind back up to Notability 15 just to get that last point (for pride, if nothing else). I suppose I can blow some of my saved-up salon Scheme when it's time. But I should probably visit the Cave of the Nadir a bunch before that. *laugh*

I feel your pain! I overcapped Dangerous at 215. My only overcapped stat to date. At some point, got to Airs of London 98 and thought "Oooh, I'll pick up a Dock favour! From the Chandleress."

....yeah.

214 Dangerous, baby!

I'm on Polythreme, trying to make progress in spite of my unruly clothing.

I have 5-card lodgings, and have filled 4 of my 5 spaces with unwanted opportunity cards, with one space free to draw from the deck. Based on this spread, I know that the deck will only contain 3 cards, and of those 3, one (The Masked Man) is unwanted and two are wanted (At the Market, and The Priest at the Temple).

2 of 3 is good odds, right?

This morning I fired up the game with a full 10-card deck ready to draw from. First card I drew The Masked Man, so I discarded and re-drew. Drew the Masked Man again.

I burned through all 10 cards. All of them were The Masked Man.

RNG hates me today.

Well, RNG! Well?
First two tears yield 14 total uses which is nice considering the average is 5!

But the next 5 went off pretty fast; a total of 10 uses! A louse average of 2/Tear! :|

Tried to get a Tomb Colonists favour for 3 days straight to get up to 7 so I could buy my Renown 40 companion while exiled.

Didn't know you got a favour for BEING exiled in the first place.

I won't tell you that you can get Favours WHILE in exile as well! Big Grin

But congratulations for your lovely new pet!

EDIT: Well, managed to get another Tear after last 5 yielded a total of 10 uses! But this one, as other two, melted at first attempt! RNG?

Your 'Favours: Hell' Quality has gone!

...when you had a full hand of 7 Favours. And you can blame nobody but yourself for planning out actions poorly.

Today I learned that when you use Favourable Circumstances to force a specific opportunity draw, it pushes the rightmost card out of your hand.

That stings when the rightmost card was a Mood.

Edit: Wait, the mood came back after I went back and played through the card. Huh. Weird.
