StoryNexus will not use or sell Nex from end April

We want to let world creators know that we are retiring Nex-locked content from all StoryNexus worlds.
(This does not include Fallen London. These changes will have a knock-on effect to currencies in Fallen London; more on that in the coming months.)
There's almost no money going through the platform, but it still costs us fees, and there's still a minimum of risk and support time, especially when players (as they often do) come to us rather than content creators.
From the end of April:
- It will no longer be possible to purchase Nex via StoryNexus.
- It will no longer be possible to spend Nex in StoryNexus.
- All Nex locks on content will be removed.
- We'll settle up any outstanding royalties that never made it to the £50 threshold.
By default, new SN worlds will have no action limit - if a creator wants to leave a limit in place for purely creative reasons, they will be able to.
StoryNexus will remain live, and users can continue to create free games.
If you have a project nearly ready to go, and you were hoping it would generate revenue, then contact us directly at enquiries@failbettergames.com and we may be able to work something out. edited by h4nchan on 2/24/2015
