Raise your Stormy-Eyed extremely high.

Although I've raised my Stormy-eyed to 20 in Mutton Island, nothing whatsoever happened when I went back to London. Is it an opportunity card ? If it's a message or a storylet I failed to notice any.

Not to pester you all with questions, but would you happen to know if this storylet is available overzees? Like, say, on Mutton Island?

It is indeed only available back in London. Or at least it's not available on Mutton Island.

Got it. Thanks. I suppose I'll have to schedule my expedition to the Republic sooner than I intended.

I'm working my way through it now and it's a lovely Easter Egg.

Can anyone confirm it is Stromy Eyed 19, by the way? I forgot to make note of the opening storylet's unlock requirements, but I saw that much of the stuff inside unlocks at 14.

Social Actions: send them to Kade Carrion (she/her; no Tournament of Lilies, please). an_ocelot has gone NORTH and cannot benefit from social actions!

It is 19, yes, but that's too low to succeed at most of the challenges you'll see.

How high would you recommend raising it before venturing inside?

I don't recall exactly - and, having lost all my Stormy-Eyed there and not yet found any way to regain it, I can't go check - but I didn't have any successes at 20. ~25 might be a safer bet.

To be fair, you're encouraged to fail those tests. Someone who succeeds at most of those may find themselves there for quite some time.

So actions there decrease your Stormy-Eyed? Are you guaranteed to lose it there before you get out?

They do. And if there's any way to leave with Stormy-Eyed intact, I didn't find it.

I think if you were to use the Fate option while you had a significant amount of stormy-eyed left, you might be able to get out with some still intact.
i think

Unless the Fate option has changed since I use it, it doesn't get you out immediately - just reduces your Stormy-Eyed a great deal.

Hmm. I don't like the idea of losing Stormy-Eyed much, but it seems that hoarding it in the first place is only meant for you to discover the Mind of the Dead God, so it doesn't actually do much other than making your gaze dark and mysterious *_*

I think we should totally have some character art for that! (somebody with high Stormy-Eyed, I mean)
In theory it allows you to manipulate the weather to a certain extent. Not many cards utilise this outside the Dreams. But IMHO that's still much cooler, than one time limited trip to somebodies Mind. I kinda hoped there would be a storylet, that would allow you to enchance those qualities, instead of losing them. I get why it's not feasible to become a new god of Fallen London... but still.

On a personal note, I myself have a lot of control over my dreams, and would probably be able to summon a lightning or two (if it ever occured to me to do that, alas I am not usually lucid). That's one of the reasons I would like my character to have high Dream qualities, and do not want to lose them under any circumstances. My character bought a bottle of Honeyed Lauduam during the first week of the game, and still keeps it.
