I dunno...that card seemed like a good stopping point. No Veteran increase because we were never visited by the real Mr Sacks.
So there's still the question, what's the real Mr Sacks doing right now?
I've been wondering a lot about that lately. There was that Stone Pig situation that needed to be taken care of. Maybe he helped with that, and wasn't able to devote time to go house to house. edited by Sara Hysaro on 11/26/2014

Given all we've learned about the Masters this Christmas... I feel even less certain of who or what Mr Sacks or any of his brethren are than before. That said, if he were to pop up sometime soon and bring Christmas to a close, I'd not be surprised.

I was expecting to lose my Twelve Days Quality, though, and it's still there (at 12). I guess we'll see . . .

Well the Urchins card is still offering pails of so called snow ... so maybe there is still more to come.

Sorry RL means I am not a very active player at the moment. No social actions unless you are prepared to wait and definitely no sparring or other mult-action things.
No Calling Cards or boxed cats please. Will take dupes on the affluent photographers. Other social invitations welcome. Parabolan Kittens usually available, send me an in-game social action saying you want one and I will get one to you as soon as possible.

I spent the fate for the Benthic storyline, but when the last Mr. Sacks appeared, I had an odd moment of feeling pity and kindness and couldn't just leave him there -- so didn't pursue the Benthic storyline, and didn't collect the more lucrative reward. Ah well. At least I seem to be more entwined with the Masters, which can only lead to wonderfully dreadful things.
I was in the exact same boat. Sigh indeed...
I'm *dying* to know what the flavor text was for that "This is what you've been waiting for" option -- could some kind soul PM me, please?

So, correct me if I'm wrong, as of now the visits have been:
1 - Mr Spices 2 - Mr Wines 3 - Mr Stones 4 - Mr Mirrors 5 - Mr Pages 6 - Mr Fires 7 - Silas from Mahogany Hall 8 - Mr Eaten 9 - Mr Veils 10 - Mr Irons 11 - Mr Hearts
Mostly right, but I believe there is one difference:
I believe the last one was actually Mr Sacks. That's why he couldn't come this year— someone has done him in.

Actually, I'm of the opinion that ALL the masters we were visited by (Minus Silas) were much like the last Mr. Sacks: Composed out of Lacre. However, they took the appearance and personality of a different Master each time. I believe one of the fate locked options has the relevant info on that. In any case, it does raise questions about the Masters themselves...

For what we know, Mr Sacks himself - I mean the "original" one, the one who visited us last Christmases - could be made of lacre too. I think there's a snippet (maybe in one of the Fate-Locked options of one of the Sacks?) citing that sometimes the snowmen-lacre creatures are modeled after the Bazaar's will, some other after the Master's. Is it possible that the "original" Sacks was the manifestation of the Bazaar wil,, and the different ones were the Master's?
Or maybe it's the other way round, usually Mr Sacks is the embodiment of the will of the Masters (a figure convincing people to give him presents basically for free, a capitalist's dream XD), while this years it took the appearance of the way the Bazaar would like the Masters to be?

So for those of us who only started this storyline this Christmas will it be possible to finish it next time?

You're both wrong! Representatives of the ruling power, who claim to be protecting us from the dangers of the world, taking a portion of our earnings in kind? Textbook feudalism.
