Surface Ties - Am I screwed?

For a while, I decided to ignore the surface ties cards - they always seemed to come up while I was in the middle of something, so I'd discard them, looking for something else.
Now, I've got 3 of the related qualities up to rank 4, but my Dangerous one is only at 1, while my Dangerous stat is at 60 - am I screwed, here? I've not seen hide nor hair of a card relating to surface ties in quite a while, and while I want to finish the little story, I'm not sure if I can anymore.

Well, I can answer my own question now, it seems, and anyone else who wound up in a similar situation - turns out I wasn't screwed, no! I'd just been getting spectacularly unlucky when it came to drawing the surface ties card. :V
