A letter arrived last morning, suggesting there may be new doors leading to the Name. Has any other foolish soul found them? Or is the letter simply old news and referring merely to certain candles by which to lure new fools on this wretched quest?

I was briefly baffled, too, but I believe that the letter in question is simply a summary of recent developments of which we were largely already abreast - including, as you say, the candles.
