Affair of the Box - problem?

I have got up to the making plans part of the affair of the box, then built up to Sunday's show at Mahogany Hall. When I chose the option relating to the box (can't remember the exact text now), the resulting text told me the next stage would be found in Spite, however when I go to Spite, there is no continuing story. Does anyone know if there's some restriction preventing me from seeing it, or the instruction is wrong, and I have to go somewhere else?
