How to Update GOG Version?

Hey all, just bought the game a few days. Been really enjoying it so far and I'm on my third captain. However, I've noticed a problem. My in-game version is V1.0.0.1951 and I have all the stories up to date. On youtube videos and the wiki, I see the current game version seems to be V1.0.0.1957. GOG doesn't have any updates to download that I can see and the game doesn't auto-download updates. Where can I update my game? I do not want outdated gameplay and bugs in my game.

That's the final version number for Steam. The Humble and GOG builds are slightly different from the Steam build (which integrates some special Steam functionality), so they have a different version number.
