(Hope this is the right thread) I’m in Polythreme pursuing the Jack Case, and I’m wondering if it’s normal to that I’m having trouble getting my Investigating… to 12 at the same time as getting my Unnaturally Exuberant to exactly 1. (Right now my investigating is at 11 but the only ways I can see to raise it will lower my UE from 1 to 0) Is there an option I’m missing, or do I just have to keep cycling through until it works out?
You gotta get it up to 12 before that point. Cash in for one of the other rewards and try again.
Question - I’ve been getting serious offers from devils for months now on my alt and yet I appear to still be ensouled. Is this the RNG laughing at me?
The RNG is always laughing at you. It’s a problem it has.
Do connections qualities have a point where they stop being pyramidal (like stats, which level off at 70)? If so, where? I decided to try to get my urchins high enough to get at least a little renown for whenever that switches over
Connections and almost everything else that isn’t a main stat caps off at 50CP per level.
I’m heading NORTH-ward. I’ve still got several things to finish, to complete all the (not fate) content (which has taken me… Slightly under a year?), but three questions:

Is there a list of all the stories I can check to see if I’m missing something? Took me ages to work out how to get into the Foreign Office, for instance.

Has there been any word on when ambitions will be complete-able? It’s kind of the only thing that is really like to finish. If it’s yes: but in 3 months, or maybe even yes, but in y months, or some vague time frame, I might stick around, but if it’s just a shrug, then I might just go NORTH earlier. (I really want to destroy the Vake, though)

Are there any items that I can send to other characters that can be purchased in the Bazaar, or gained relatively simply? There will come a time, after all, when I won’t need them & while I could just throw them down a well, of I could be magnanimous, I’d like to be.
1.Not sure if there’s a list, but since you have hinge-owl and the clothes-colony, you’ve probably seen all major content. Possible ones that are easier to miss would be Nadir in FQ and mabe Doubt Street in Spite, I suppose? Also, Temple club in FQ is worth a visit, just ask for an invitation in the thread in “Singing Mandrake” on the forums.
2.I really wouldn’t wait for the ambitions. They haven’t been updated in quite a while (year(s)), and no announcement has been made of them continuing any time soon, at the very least certainly not in the next few months.
- You can use the “Commotion in the square of lofty words” opp card for sending people rats, jewels (in sets of 3 flawed diamons, 3 venom rubies and 3 sapphires all together) or pay 10 echoes to send a surprise package (people tend to like these a lot, especially the ones trying to find their souls.)
A bit ago, I found myself banned from the university for my actions. Being fond of school life, is there a way for me to work my way back there?

If you complete enough scientific expeditions you can, though I’m afraid many things will still be locked.
You can go back to the University of you complete a scientific expedition at zee. The carousel is not returning, as it was tied to the department, but you are still a university fellow.
It is normal to have trouble. It is probably the most annoying carousel. I used bribes (romantic notions, surface silk scraps) to get there - if I hadn’t, I would have been stuck there for weeks.

By the way, no Time the Healer for me yet. Anyone else experiencing this?
I got mine two hours ago. It was delayed about a day last week, which reset when to expect it (I used to get mine on Mondays).
I understand that this is 1) a complete noob question, and 2) subject to both subjectivity and way too much complexity to adequately distill to a simple answer, but…
I’m a hoarder. I collect everything. And both Sunless Sea and my time so far in London has convinced me of the rightness of this position. However, if I wanted to sell a few less useful items, is there something that’s just not very useful? Something "safe" to sell?
Maybe a better way to phrase this: what kinds of things do you other Citizens sell?
Set a baseline (Say 3000 or so) and sell .01 echo items. Keep in mind you’ll need 10000 rostygold for one of the later game items, so don’t do too much with that. And whispered hints should probably be a bit higher than the rest. (Cryptic clues and appalling secrets are less useful)
I may have accidentally reported something due to checking the forums while still very sleepy & using a mobile. It’s there any way of checking, or un-reporting whatever I reported? Or confirming if I did or not?
