Try finding a friend (or using an alt) you can dump scandal onto via a social card. Or, if you’ve got echoes to spare, buy tons of the Instant Ablution Absolution, which reduces some scandal. Or just stay away from risky actions until the time healer comes a few times.
Are there any good ways to raise dangerous besides the obvious option of unfinished business @ 90%? If so, any advice on doing them?
Card based is helpful too, of course.
Velocipede Squad is an alternate Dangerous-based grind with decent cash. War of Assassins & Wilmot’s End can also use Dangerous for parts of them.
If you’re interested in cards, you can turn in 5 Docks or Tomb-Colonist Favors on the relevant faction cards for fighting classes. Not exactly what I want to spend my Favors on, but… it’s more than 100cp per turn-in.

Well, the other options, I’ve hit a wall until I get my dangerous higher. I wouldn’t consider it either otherwise, but… With nothing better to do with it, might as well.
So it’s all at about the same pace, though? There’s not some dramatically superior option I’m missing that gives bonus CP?

Through storylets? I don’t think there is anything better than the Velocipede squad, don’t forget to use the dock favours for dangerous as well(unless you want renown or expeditions) and the card to train in your gymnasium(10 change points of dangerous for 1 change point of wounds).

You could also go back and build up qualities that you might have only gotten to necessary levels before. For instance, you could try to grind your Fearsome Duellist quality to some insanely high level. This might not be the most efficient method of acquiring Dangerous, but I find it fun to get the bonus of increasing a quality I might otherwise have ignored.
So London is lit by gaslight. All well and good.
But what of the other cities? Candles? Torches? Was the First City stuck with everyone trying to peer at each other via glim-light?

Candles probably, there was a mr candles after all.
That does tend to suggest that certain Tomb Colonist habits are by way of community service.
Dueling the black ribbon is handy because it’s a repeatable storylet which changes Airs, if you’re looking for Docks Favours. Annoyingly, it doesn’t confer extra CPs if you complete a duel though.
How low is your dangerous, currently?
How do I increase Shadowy to 268 and beyond? I’ve been grinding Criminals renown but now I can’t advance because my Shadowy is too low. It’s 258 at the moment.
Moods, and I’m afraid at some point it is too hard for many people to raise them.
So iirc there’re fate locked options regarding quirks at the end of the Iron Republic. It says it’ll raise them significantly, but will it also lower others, and does it have a cap?
that is capped at 10, doesn’t lower any quirks.
Oh pumpernickel.
On one hand I’m surprised there aren’t even any fatelocked ways to raise Hedonist available regularly, but on the other I’m just glad that the Feast is coming soon. I’ll make Scarlet Saint yet

So I am certain that it has been asked time and time again, this may not even be the best place to ask. However, I feel like the most important aspect of my person, is my pursuit of vengeance. That in mind, is there any likelihood of an update to Ambitions occurring anytime soon? I wish to deliver death, slowly perhaps torturing-ly slow, to a group of individuals, at nearly any cost to my person even permanent death. I know a lot of resources have been and are being devoted to new projects like Sunless Skies and Seas and maybe other projects as well.
Anyways, I know I have probably asked a question that has been asked literally thousands of times before, but I can’t find a definitive answer (at least not one that I like) so I figured I would ask for myself.
I ended up getting a prepaid debit card recently, and want to spend it on fate.
Problem: This card apparently only works in the continental US.
Is there a way to get around this?
The card is a mastercard, but the terms of its use mean that it won’t accept transactions outside the US.

When you pay for Fate, there’s a link to "other payment methods", with Use Super Rewards in bold. If you click through, you’ll find some other options. Click the Prepay icon and you’ll be see that you can use gift cards from certain stores (CVS, Subway, Dollar General, but check yourself) through Open Bucks. I did it myself not that long ago.
So use you prepaid debit card to buy yourself gift cards, to turn into Fate. They’ll convert at the same dollar amount (IE, $20 GC or credit card for 100 Fate)
