The next one is due to Urchins, but I don’t think a date has been set.
Sorry, wrong question- how much volume, from the description, do you think the vials of tears hold each? I’m wondering if it’s, say, 1 fluid ounce a vial- in which case, i have 1/4th of a gallon- or 4 fluid ounces, as a google of the smallest standard flask size claims to be- or 2 fluid ounces, or 8.
I want enough to drown a master, and i’m wondering how much i’d need to dilute it.
something like that, i mean.

77 is usually enough, if that doesn’t work, make sure you have 777 around you just in case someone decides they don’t want to die, and is it just drowning a Master or will there be more? We need more information! (And for the love of God make sure Veils suffers somehow too).
The plan is to drop/shove a master in a crate, which will be exactly as hard as it sounds, which will be filled with diluted tears. once it falls in, we’ll close the lid- we, because i will need a lot of help- and trap it in there. unless it can rip through seriously nasty stuff while in lacre, that should do the job… so it probably won’t.
The next one is due to Urchins, but I don’t think a date has been set.
Really? That’s going to be bad, I was grinding for scrap .-.
well, it’s been a month or two- who knows how long till it’s actually released. [plus, they could make it pay more scraps but require a lot of favors.]

Is there a way to get to 7 respectable without Fate?
My alt needs 7 to get past a stage of his ambition; he has 4+ in Affiliation, 1+ in Clothing, and 1+ in Companion. That just makes 6, though. I’ve trolled the Bazaar and can’t find anything else that would give +1, or an added bonus on my other slots (unless I’m missing something)?
It’s irking me, as I didn’t think Ambitions had fate-locked sections to them, so I’m assuming I’m missing something here . . . is there a way to get that final point? :-S
If you were a campaigner, you’d get boots that give you +1 Respectable. Otherwise, you can acquire a Majestic Pleasure Yacht, which gives +2, or join the Pathanaeum for +4.

There is a hat, the Fecund Amber Tiara.
Use Counting the Days to get a Consonant Violin, and that will provide a +1 Respectable weapon. The Respectable Landau also provides +2. Those are easier than getting a Yacht and don’t lock you into the Parthanaeum as your club (I prefer the Young Stags).
I have a somewhat…situational method of doing this. Firstly, it involved being a monster hunter, secondly, it involved having a boat, and lastly, it involves having access to the beast breeding storylets.
Effectively: Go out to zee, grab a seal with the monster hunter option (gives 1 antique mystery), take it back, either beat devils into a pulp for a bit or just tame the thing.
Taming gives passphrases, beating devils gives antique mysteries, theoretically the passphrases will get you the stuff faster, but will also require a few tomb colony favours.
Using this method, I got my reservation is abooouut three days of consistant effort.
I actually created a thread considering the efficiency of the method, and I believe it ended up in my favour because of the monster hunter bonus mystery. Just because, well, it takes just under 20 actions to make the zee voyage on an average run, and that gives you one, and then 8 actions later, you can have another 3 or therabouts. Averages out to about one mystery every 7 actions…which is actually some pretty decent epa all things considered.
Again though, very situational, and if you dont have all that pre-req…well, it’s really, not a useful idea.

Have I mentioned how cool it is that this becomes an actual, viable option for epa? Like, there aren’t many chances to make money by doing your actual job, and this one is kind of a rarity.

Seeing as I barely touched the Labyrinth content (still in First Coil), I doubt that it is useful to me. Thank you nonetheless!
Does anyone know of a way to get Connected: Benthic if you lost the quality entirely, when you’ve already been expelled/reinstated at the university?
EDIT: it turned out to be very easy, "A Colleague with a Problem" at the University solved my problem. Sorry about the rather stupid question!

If you’re reinstated you can help a colleague with a problem in the university. Otherwise you can donate what you find from archeological expeditions.
The University Endowment item can give you 1 cp of one college at the cost of 50 cp of the other college. I don’t think there’s anything else until you reestablish your academical reputation.
You can only do that if you already have at least 1 in that connection.
Thank you both, A Colleague with a Problem worked!
Unfortunately donations require you have connected: Benthic/Summerset already, I found that out the hard way.
My alt, Aislene Aveskamp, just got the storylet called “A Name Known to Many”, prompting them to choose appropriate level of “The name signed with a flourish”. The thing is, they haven’t played any of Veilgarden content yet, and I’d rather postpone it a bit more and then start playing it from the very beginning, including the mushroom epic. Do I absolutely have to choose and get “the name signed…”? Was this thing even supposed to happen? I was under impression these storylets were a one-time thing, when the early content just got overhauled. Is this a bug?
Try equipping some gear to lower your Persuasive below 14? It might be too late, now that the storylet has already fired.
What’s the best way to go about getting Brilliant Souls for a Brass Embassy guest room? I’m only missing that and the Bazaar Lease from my collection of homes. Is grinding to buy plain souls and converting up the best way, or is there some avenue that provides more bang for my action?
You’ll probably want to do Thefts of a Particular Character in Spite to steal Brilliant Souls directly. The Gang of Hoodlums option is the best to prepare, but you can also use the POSI option if you don’t want to get a Gang first (or if your Shadowy is low).
Alternatively, feed the Big Rat smaller rats for Casing, which, I believe, gives the same as Gang in 1 action for 3 Talkative Rattuses.
