RIP Lemmy :(

Does anyone know of methods in which to raise Magnanimous to 12 or higher? I can’t remember any off the top of my head and the wiki isn’t providing much help on that front (unless I’ve overlooked something).

As far as I remember, if you’re a Shepherd, then returning souls can increase Magnanimous up to 15.

Other than that, nothing else that’s repeatable comes to mind (though if you haven’t completed all of the Making Your Names steps, I believe that all of those quirk increases are up to 15 (or uncapped)).

It seems that raising Renown is going to be the primary way of breaking through the 10-12 barrier for Quirks. I could have sworn one of the existing faction items raised Magnanimous, but most of them seem to raise Steadfast instead.

SPOILERS about Seeking the Meaning of the Plaster Face!

Is there any point to continuing to increase my Sympathetic to Ratly Concerns, once I’ve defeated the Big Rat? I keep getting the Albino Rat card and listening to her story, but does this lead anywhere?

Nope. If you don’t want the card anymore you’ll have to pay fate to reset the story (siding with the big rat gives you a storylet in your lodgings instead of cluttering your deck).

Do you have a lot of Giggling Mandrakes?

So, I’m about to embark on a voyaje of scientific discovery. How much should I prepare? How many notes should I bring with me before zailing? I have 120 of each kind right now, but i have some unearthly fossil with me if needed. I guess my first objective should be readmittance at the university? My watchful is 140, if that helps

You get notes from voyages, not spend them, so bring as many as you think economical.

Were the action/card timers changed? Because mine keeps starting from 20 minutes instead of 10.

The servers are pretty buggy right now. The timers you see browser-side aren’t accurately reflecting whatever the server has.

What is a good way to decrease suspicion. I already have a familiar face in prison, and I have more than 4 name whispered in darkness. Also, I have less than 3 suspicion so I can’t ask people to help.

There is an Air-based option in Opportunism in Spite (Confound the Constables) that can reduce your Suspicion. Otherwise, if you amass the resources to join the Parthanaeum, that unlocks an opportunity card that can reduce it.

You don’t really need to worry about it if it’s less than 3.

Having suspicion 2+ gives an annoyingly common opportunity card, so it’s only harmless at 1 or 0. Said card can reduce your suspicion though.

I don’t think there are any good storylets for reducing suspicion that aren’t airs based.

I need it less than 2 so I can rob the masters.

Have you got a Set of Workman’s Clothes or a Sober Dress? Either will give you -1 suspicion and only cost 20p.

The Dazed Raven Advisor card has a luck check that reduces suspicion on success.

Or you can cycle airs of London until you reach 0 to 25 then you can confound the constables using Opportunism in Spite.
