Hum, they should add an option that once a protegee reaches level 100 he/she/it would be able to end the mentorship with the patron, get a small amount of MW and the patron should receive a reward (MW at least), not a penalty.
EDIT: Just to be clear: add an extra option, not replace the existing one.
