A lore question that I’ve asked on the subreddit, but gotten no answer to: on the card A Dream About a Stable, you have an option to select a Black horse, a White horse, and a Red horse, the meaning of which is self evident. However…you also have the option to select a Pale horse. What does that one represent? The Clockwork sun? Her Majesty the Queen? I’ve been puzzling over this one for months. (And if I don’t get an answer, I plan to repost next week-please tell me if that isn’t allowed.)
I’m not sure it does represent something neathy. The colored horses are the ones the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse ride with the Pale horse being Death’s.
I suppose that makes sense…bit disappointing though. My best guess in the end was the Mirror, but it had a purr, so that felt wrong.
