Weekly Fallen London Questions, 11/02/2019

So. Today was a good day; I bought the Cider, and I got rid of the devils. So I start unpacking some boxes, and out comes a Starveling cat!
Is it true that the creature will eat other pets? And how do I get rid of it without burdening another?

I’ve got that error where it says there are -a zillion cards waiting, and I can’t draw new cards. There’s a way to reset it somehow–it’s happened before–but I can’t remember how to do it. -2147483371 cards waiting!

Anything that resets your deck should fix it, like flash lays or the Pickpocket’s Promenade.

That’s it! PP worked–thanks!

Congrats on getting a Cider!
I’ve had a Starveling Cat in my inventory since forever. So far it hasn’t harassed my other companions, nor done anything untoward to the rest of my inventory.

There is a choice in the &quotTroubled By Vermin&quot storyline that requires a Starveling Cat, and then removes it if you succeed. But that storyline is early-game and unrepeatable, so you’ve probably finished it already. Apart from that and Seeking, I don’t know other options which remove Starveling Cats. Fob the critter off to a hapless Seeker – they’re asking for suffering, after all.

Or a collector. Of which I know for a fact I am far from the only one, by the way: cats are quite a valuable commodity, you’ll find.

How long we’ve got til the Feast ends? Is there a set time?

At the end of the first post in the Rose Feast 1897 thread there are some dates listed. And usually things get closed around noon GMT on such days.
