where can i get mass amounts of mysteries items? (no cards or fate)
where can i get mass amounts of mysteries items? (no cards or fate)
Progress A Name in Seven Secret Alphabets until the end, and you’ll be invited into the university. Progress there until you get to start doing investigations, and you’ll be able to turn that into a profitable grind for Cryptic Clues, until you conclude the last investigation, which will make that grind unavailable. You can also gather Casing to steal Tales of Terror!! and Journals of Infamy, but I don’t think that’s as profitable. Might be quicker to get started that way though?
Is there a planned date of release for the conclusion of the last season of ES stories?
Probably missed the announcement
Nope, you didn’t miss it.

That’s good. Thank you!
So nothing groundbreaking, and almost downright useless since the tigers were added. Good to know, thanks.
No, but you get to stay in London where you can boost your EPA with expeditions and other great cards!
But you need to log in a lot for this to happen. The Court is the alternative: log in a few times per day, few clicks, done!
Making your Name: Getting to the ball

I have the univercityuniversity. (wealth) but it says im not ready…
I have the univercityuniversity. (wealth) but it says im not ready…
Yeah, you need to be invited because of "A Scholar of the Correspondence", which you get at the last level of A Name in Seven Secret Alphabets. Then you start Featuring in the Tales of the University, which is what would make you ready to eventually start investigating crimes there. So rather than looking for ways to get items you need, you might just want to start ‘making a name’ for yourself to unlock more content, making things easier to accomplish in the long run.
hm. now im just confused. i was trying to say the university making ur name is locked rn. what do i do? lol

It doesn’t sound to me as if it’s 6, which it must be to even get started at the university. Check the link to see what you should/could be doing in order to advance that quality. It starts at Ladybones Road, then continues in the Forgotten Quarter, and then goes on to the University.
What exactly is all required to become a POSI?
The way the game describes it is extremely confusing… They make it seem like you need only one skill to be level 100 or higher, but apparently you need every level to at least 100.
I am trying to become “A Person Of Legendary Charisma”, but when I look under the option to become one in Veilgarden, IT SAYS YOU NEED TO BE AT LEAST LEVEL 200 UNMODIFIED!?
Can someone PLEASE explain what exactly I’m supposed to do?
I have purchased the Parabola Linen Frock & my current unmodified stats are:
Pursuasive- 150
Shadowy- 84
Dangerous- 101
Watchful- 112
So I’ll be there soon since I’m an exceptional friend.
Danke everyone in advance.
A person of Legendary Charisma is level 2 of PoSI. If you can see that option, you already are a PoSI.
Can someone PLEASE explain what exactly I’m supposed to do?
Take a look here to see all the steps you need to take to go from a nobody to a somebody. The Legendary Charisma is a step above regular PoSI, so that’s why you need more to qualify for it. It’s something you can work towards once you’re already PoSI.
If you want to become PoSI without having to raise Shadowy, you can use a mood card to increase your Shadowy when that test comes up. If you have one on hand, that is. But most PoSI end up with all four stats maxed anyway. Though there are some cards that might benefit you that you can only draw when certain stats are 118 or lower, so it might have some slight benefit to delay certain stats.
okay… i think i understand now. so despite paying into the university i need to raise that stat to make my name there? sorry
Yeah, getting into the university with wealth is a bit of a trap, as there’s very little you can do there without being A Scholar of the Correspondence.
Quick question: how am I supposed to get the Persuasive stats needed to become a Poet-Laureate?
My base Persuasive is 200, I’m a Legendary Charisma, but I haven’t ever graced in a romance since I’ve never got my Notability to 15. My overall Persuasive is 255. But I’m at Poet Laureate 17 right now, and to get there, I needed 260 Persuasive. I got it with the help of a mood, but a mood is a rare thing, and it only gets me to 275. Am I supposed to wait for another? Will I need more than 275 Persuasive? Do I have to grind Notability, then exchange it for Persuasive (but in this case, does that mean you have to be a Legendary Charisma to become a Poet-Laureate)? Or are there any better Persuasive clothes? In this case, how do I find them?
What I have on me now:
Fecund Amber Tiara (P+10)
Exquisite Ivory Gown (P+10)
Twelve-Carat Diamond Ring (P+8)
Brass Ring (P+5)
Pair of Masterwork Dancing Slippers (P+5)
The Minister of Culture (P+10)
Destiny: The Curator (P+5)
A Salon (P+2)
My Transportation, Home Comfort, Ship, Spouse and Club add nothing to Persuasive.
Quick question: how am I supposed to get the Persuasive stats needed to become a Poet-Laureate?
Renown 40 with Society, the Docks, and the Church will get you an extra 21 points with a Transport, a better Weapon, and a Home Comfort (links to the items, so take care if you want a bit of mystery; some of the reveals are pretty fun). You can also skip The Docks by switching professions to Crooked Cross or Correspondent to get an even more Persuasive Weapon. A mood will probably be necessary by the end, though; Persuasive Equipment doesn’t stretch very far.
Thanks, Elderfleur! That’s a bit of a grind, but, well, so is everything.) Guess I won’t be spending my Church Favours on writing for a while.
