Weekly Fallen London Questions, 03/06/2019

It’s June! If you have any questions about spoons, Fallen London, or the Moon, here’s the place to ask them.

(Moving over from the last thread)

I’ve posted a request for help in the SMEN thread, but in case I can’t find enough other players to betray for Arthur’s Candle, would I be able to repeatedly buy and betray a Midnight Matriarch, or is that only possible once?

You can betray as many Matriarchs as you can afford. I think the only betrayals that are limited to once are the spouses, and a certain option in Mohagany Hall.

Brilliant, thank you.

Once I’ve obtained St. Arthur’s Candle, are there any future requirements within SMEN for Weeping Scars and/or Stains on your Soul?

Nope.

Should I bother with keeping my connected: widow above 50? There doesn’t seem to any worth in keeping it high and it’s always popping up as a conflict card. My main concern is that grinding it is a pain.

I’m a PoSI and I’ve just started the grind for Paramount Presence (starting with a single London’s XYZ. I’m on the cusp of end-game. Thanks!

Perhaps someday the widow will be converted over to the favors system. Other than that, no, you can dump it.
