Trying to buy: half-abandoned mansion

As always I seem to have something HALF figured out.

I’m doing knife and candle, I’ve got prize tokens and knife tokens…

I just can’t seem to figure out how to get to 5 x Assassin of Assassins

Another spot says &quotrank 14&quot and I don’t know how to do that either.

Would somebody be willing to edumicate me?

You get Assassin of Assassins by concluding a Golden Hunt, and I think to challenge someone to a Golden Hunt you and the other person both need 3 Proud Parades of Victories.

Ranks, if I understand correctly, are an outdated system from the First Season of Knife and Candle. You may disregard its mention safely. Assassin of Assassins, on the other hand, is a quality only gained by defeating an opponent in a Golden Hunt. Said Golden Hunts are available for Moon League Players with A Proud Parade of Victories 3 or more.

Luck with your real estate aspirations. The Game is one of the least predictable grinds in London, and the Sharp Iron Key one of the trickier Lodgings to acquire…

I need 15 wins, in a row?

Wow. I didn’t know they changed it from 7 x Proud Parade of Victories to 5 x Assassin of Assassins. I guess I got mine while the getting was good. Here’s a tip though: Build your Proud Parades of Victories in the Iron League, then save them for a Golden Hunt in the Moon League.

No, but 3 wins in a row, then a win in a Golden Hunt, five times. You won’t lose Assassin of Assassins that you earn, unless you spend them on stuff. But if you lose a Golden Hunt or any other hunt/fight, you’ll lose your Proud Parade of Victories.

Nope, you only need 5 wins in a Golden Hunt. A Golden Hunt requires three wins in a row to start, but doesn’t reset your streak of wins. So you could win three times in regular Moon League duels, then do a Golden Hunt, and if you win at that you could do another Golden Hunt, and so forth. If you lose, however, your win-streak will be reset and you’ll have to get another 3 wins in a row in order to qualify for Golden Hunts.

I’m pretty sure that switching leagues currently resets Proud Parade of Victories.

Yep, it doesn’t say so on the wiki, but it resets the proud parade when you switch leagues.

I’d be happy to throw Moon League matches to you in exchange for 2 gifts per match, but that might take you a while. (And is also quite unsportsmanlike.)

if I attack, I lose.
If I defend, about 50/50.
I had one golden hunt but the other person withdrew while I was waiting for them to attack…

I honestly don’t think I could get the winstreak.

Though, if I was going to resort to bribes and somebody to throw the match, guess I could do it in 8? 3 to go golden, then 5 golden to qualify?

The problem is that the person you’re bribing has to rebuild their way to a winstreak of 3 before doing another Golden Hunt with you, and that could take some time. Unless you bribe even more people. Of course, you can only play each person once per day, so that’d take a while anyway.

Both players need a streak of 3 to have a Golden Hunt. As such you’d need to find a new player for each one or wait until your co-conspirator achieves a streak of three themselves. I suppose with a third account this wouldn’t be an issue, as the forfeiter could be fed victories from the alt.

ah, right…

Looks like I could get the tier 3 medal (silver in moon) on the way up, those seem to require but not consume 3 assassins. The house will consume 5, and I’d need to reach 7 to FINISH, wouldn’t I?

If I /was/ buying victories…

I’d need 3 to be ready. Then I’d need to win 5 times, each also requiring 3 more to setup. I’d be buying 18 fights.

ouch.

If you recruit someone with an alt of sufficient level, they might be willing to do the streak-grinding for free or at least more cheaply as they could cash in their wins for a lot of items from their patron.

nods 18 fights, 18 DAYS, and that assumes that both players could be on.

This is not an easy thing to arrange.

Getting to the “gold” tier of an order, a month, ouch.

If you were lucky and knew enough active players, it could take far less than that. The once-a-day limit is per player (and might even reset after dueling someone else, I’m not sure) so if you can find enough people for quick duels than you can complete them quite rapidly.

Aha! More revelations. Back when I did what I did I think I read something about losing one’s Proud Parade of Victories when leaving the Moon League, but found out that it did not apply when joining. I guess they changed that then.

sadly, I have one remote, this is part of an obsession to own every home.

wait, I can killstreak outside of moon leage…

Do I NEED to be in the moonleage to get the house?

Is there anything I actually have to be one of the moon to get?

Yes. One of the requirements is a Moon League Token.
