The London Horticultural Show is here!

And we’re at 101% of the fleet’s strength.

How high can it go?

And indeed, what’s the trigger for the next phase now? Noon UTC or the roof survey bar?

The actions to increase fleet preparations will be locked at 26M (130% of the target).

According to the Station IX storylet, the next phase should be triggered increasing aerial surveillance (in addition to fleet disposition ).

Yeah, the fleet is now fully prepared, though we need to maintain it at this level while also bringing aerial surveillance up to 100%. Success in these should advance the story.

It’s amusing how the Horticultural Society keeps somehow finding more money to donate to the war effort.

You know how sometimes you find a ten-pound note in your jacket pocket and it makes your day immeasurably better? The Horticultural Society has a lot of jackets.

It’s the Treachery of Clocks! :)

I like that this part of the event is very accessible for new players, and can give them some fun, hard to come by items.

I managed to scout three spots once. 40% success chance to evade attack, kept failing. Felt like 10-20% risky chance. Airship was badly damaged, fuel almost depleted. One more evasion failure would have destroyed the aircraft.

Grabbed 1813 Observations = 21880 Service to London.

Not sure if I want to keep doing this… it’s giving me heart attacks. And surely all that accumulated Service to London must be used to redeem something amazing at the end of the event, no?

Half the crew is lost. Fires rage across the deck. Yet still, the airship holds, guns blazing.
Your fuel stores are running dangerously low.

The craft is almost lost. Only the sound of cannon through the smoke lets you know that your gunners fight on.

As to if it’s worth it pushing further: Each sighting gives you an additional 1250 Service to London (12.5 E), so you want to try to reach as many as possible in a single trip. Doing shorter trips is lower EPA because you need to spend a few actions with reporting sightings, starting over again, etc.

The Observations are worth 0.1 Service each, so, in your case: 1813 Observations = 18130 Service, plus (3*1250 for Sightings) is 21880. Definitely worth getting those additional Sightings.

Yeah, I’ve come to the conclusion that having the ship end up in crisis hardly seems to matter much so you might as well gamble. My flights have been 3-3-4 on citadel sightings and all ended in near-wrecks through fuel depletion, but especially as a cider holder the wounds are rather trivial. Pity about the crew, but…

Without subscription 2 sightings are better, because you don’t lose card draws. Around 6.5 EpA (with stealth scouting).

Given the map of the roof is at 83% right now, it should be fully mapped out by tomorrow morning.

Edit: I was right! We wage war at Noon!

Now captaining the (Obliterator-class) Sound Decisionmaking Process. I think Iain M. Banks would enjoy many of these ship names.

Mine is the Preponderance of Opinions, I think you’d be right.

The weapon has been located, final assault begins at noon UTC

And, proceeding WILL stop you from earning further service, but not from spending it.
So, get to your goals before you click that briefing.

~380k is… enough, probably.
Still waiting for a really good cash-out option to show up. What do I need all those lightbulbs for?

Decorate your pad… it will surely wow visitors to bask in the light of ten thousand lightbulbs.
