The 'good evening' thread: introduce yourself here

Good Evening Ladies & Gents, It is a pleasure to meet you all. I am Celia Stanton(In Game) and I am an fascinating and observant lady. I have been in Fallen London for some time now and have finally decided to pop up and introduce myself. Best Wishes , delicious friends!

Greetings!
I forgot to introduce myself to the present charming company.
I seek excitement.

Hello darlings! I apologize for not introducing myself sooner.
Miss. Patchling is a cagey sort with a multitude of addresses all over Fallen London. She can always be spotted in the company of some animal companions, a trio of weasels, a gang of rats, a odorous tomb lion.

Outside of FL I’m a Sequential Art student who gets easily distracted.
Charmed I’m sure.

Friends. I am Serec. Plumber to the stars.
The game is great so far!

Despite having already flung myself into these forums with my usual lack of discretion and over-abundance of curiosity, I suppose it is only meet that I introduce myself properly. My governess would return from the grave to rap my fingers were I to omit the proper courtesies.

I am of blood blue, and means quite reduced. I hope to regain my proper place in society, unless I find another milieu I prefer. I am more than eager to make the acquaintance of like-minded folk, particularly those who wish to exchange favours to mutual advantage.

Being a newcomer to this place, I feel it is only right and proper to introduce myself. My name is Miss Halewood, although close acquaintances such as yourselves may address me as Elizabeth. I am finding it quite breathlessly exciting as I am swept along in this adventure, and I can usually be found in the company of Bohemians and other such artistic persons.

Hello all, I just came to Fallen London recently and adore it!
My interests are e-books, POTC MoS, Brit TV and espresso!
I am still learning the ropes by peeking into every corner I can. Hope to learn more from this wonderful forum!

I’ve always been a bit of an odd duck (or penguin in this case). I stumbled on The Guild a while back, and even though I don’t game, I enjoyed the series and when I don’t have my nose buried in a book, I’ve kept up with her other projects.

Now I have fallen for Fallen London and have even talked to my wife about getting her involved, which I think will happen soon.
How are you both an IT consultant and a follower of Felicia Day but not a gamer? :o
Hello. I’m Steve and new to Fallen London.

One of Felicia Day’s shows mentioned Fallen London and I decided to try it out. I am an IT Consultant by trade, but have never been a gamer, so imagine my surprise when I find myself enamored with this wonderful game.

I am The Heavenly Error, a crafty and captivating individual of mysterious and indistinct gender gaining favours from Constables while being a criminal at the same time

Good Day, I am Amir or as im known in London, Reiffas. I’m an extremely pleasant fellow, so please don’t be alarmed by my sudden bouts of kleptomania.

Hi there, I am des506 just started the game.
The forums seems to be filled with weird words which will make sense to me in time.
from the tiny island of singapore currently still studying =)

Hello. I’ve been playing Fallen London for a while now, but never thought about joining the forums. I guess it’s done now!

Good afternoon, I have been playing Fallen London for a very long time, (I think before Facebook support, but not sure), and I just the forums last week, but I have yet to do an actual Hello post ^__^ My screen/character name in all StoryNexus games is Katbeth, from Katherine Elizabeth. I tend to turn to Fallen London/Story Nexus when very bored at work. I am a library page at a university library, and as it is summer vacation, I ahve little to do with my desk time.

Hello, I’m Doc Twisted, and I have been playing Fallen London since Felicia Day gave it a mention on her YouTube Channel. I’ve been a bit frustrated lately, not with the game but the servers, which seem to derp out at regualr intervals.

Good Evening, my name is Elsa Greer, i’ve started playing Fallen London a short while ago. nice to meet you.

Thank you for this new life that awaits us, this chance to begin again in a golden land of opportunities and adventures! Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule all over this land, and we will call it . . .

What the hell’s going on? Were there monkeys? Some terrifying Malevolent Monkeys maybe got loose?

Gosh, you’ve . . . really got some nice toys here.

Thank you for the Ridiculous Hat. A woman walks down the street in that hat, people know she’s not afraid of anything.

And thank you for the Sorrow-Spiders. If only you could see what I’ve seen with your eyes!

This is for Pris. May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

(Yes, a Blade Runner / Firefly mashup.)

Greetings, all! You can call me Ruaidri, and I’m a lazy sod from just south of Nowhere. I’ve only been playing Fallen London for a couple of days, now, and I’ve gotten so sucked in I’ve totally spaced where it was I first found a link. laughs My memory and I have disagreements, from time to time…

I’ve been completely fascinated by the idea of stumbling upon the Rubbery Men, not having met one, yet, and I click the refresh on the sidebar like an addict, while I’m waiting for my next action point. New information drives me forward, and I find myself compelled to see everything, to try it all at least once. I guess that’s the long, drawn-out way of saying what I’ve found so far, I’ve found well-written and engaging, and I look forward to finding more. (… and more, and more!) Never mind the laudanum; I’m hooked on the plot!

Good tidings, delicious friends! May I take the liberty of introducing myself? Juliet Chauvelin - wastrel, scribbler, ailurophile, dabbler, and new citizen of the Neath. My, what an interesting place filled with such interesting people. I confess myself infinitely engaged.

Juliet Chauvelin

Hi! I’m Sam, but around the internet I’m Azuaron. I’ve been a resident of Fallen London since The Escapist featured it… years? ago, though I must admit I’ve been on vacation from the Neath for a while now after I finished the available content (having just found Cabinet Noir, I’m having a good time there). As a web developer and author, I’ve been interested in the possibility of writing my own narrative-driven games since I started playing, and when I heard about StoryNexus I practically tripped over myself getting here to sign up for the beta.

Your delicious friend,

Azuaron

I am RiverTam fresh off of Serenity and into FL. Started playing due to a friend’s suggestion and now I am hooked. I like Sherlock Holmes, quilting, and mystery novels.

Hope to meet a few of you in FL delicious friends…
