The Forgotten Saints (Confessions at Hallowmas)

Who’s Wulver?

Wulver is an old Shetland myth about a half-wolf half-man beast.

Hallowmas 1895

London has been plastered in fliers, announcing &quotThe Procession of the Forgotten Saints&quot, run by no less than the Bishop of Southwark. It invites all Londoners to come and confess, in confidentiality. There is surprisingly little ranting about it being an insane nonsensical pagan holiday. Though ‘Forgotten Saints’ is a bit on the nose.

When you arrive, you are greeted by a Prudent Confessor. &quotWelcome. Here, you may confess an error to the helpers of Saint Joshua, the order of Midnighters. As with the rites of Saint Joshua, you will forget your confession. As you confess, you may be confessed to in turn.&quot She points to six doors, with statues of saints in front of them.

Confess an Error of Curiosity

Confess an Error of Impropriety

Confess an Error of Violence

Confess an Error of Guile

Confess an Error of Whimsy

Confess an Error of Pride

(With your confession, you also have the choice to have your confession be posted or not.)

Thanks for another year of Confessions, and good luck with Neathmas (and Christmas in general).

For the Hallowmas mood…
