Sources for silk?

So, I have recently realized that Polythreme becomes 125% less frustrating (heh,since it starts from 200% frustration) …
if you have Surface silk to use as payment.

Now, where to get Silk scraps?

  • You can sail to the island of Hunter’s Keep, where the 3 sisters/Hecates/whoever live, and find silk in the boathouse
  • You should be able to threaten people in Spite to give you gifts, but my character isn’t ruthless enough for that.
  • any others?

I’ve read that the &quotA Firm Hand&quot action in the 4th Coil of the Labyrinth Of Tigers can provide Silk Scraps. Not sure how viable that is though, for what you need. :-)

Edit: I’m pretty sure there are actions in Polythreme, which provide Surface Silk. (One Might Even Profit In Such A Place -> Soft To The Touch)
Those might be more useful than trying to do stuff using beasts in the 4th Coil.
