SotC grind after Court

I’m afraid I made a terrible mistake and left the Court with SotC at level 3.
As much as I’m aware of Seeking Curious in Forgotten Quarter grinding it to lvl 7 and then this absurdly expensive Shadowy Dealings at University I wanted to ask, just to be sure - are there any other ways of upgrading my Scholar of the Correspondene? I was aiming for Correspondent and with 4 Notability and Unsigned Message in hand it hurts me that I may need to delay advancing my profession.

There are Fate-locked pets obtained in the Labyrinth of Tigers story. At least one of them (not sure if I’m allowed to discuss fate-locked stuff, but for me it was a certain feline - there may be others) puts a card in your deck that gives you SotC change points. That and the Forgotten Quarter were my prime methods of getting to level 10.

In fact, I didn’t use the Court above once to get to 10. I found it far too tiresome and grindy.

There’s also the &quotSkin of the Bazaar&quot card that appears in the bazaar side streets, but despite always flipping cards there while I was raising my SotC I never once saw it. Still haven’t ever seen it.

If you have 20 fate you can breed a Corresponding Ocelot with this, makes SotC very easy - just rub its belly when card show up.

Otherwise, find someone to trade gifts with (or any other method of getting a bundle of oddities that goes over 840), and hope for “something perilous” which gives a ton of correspondence plaques and +1 SotC up to 10.

There may be other ways too.

Thank you guys! Seems I have to get back to catching beasts, as I haven’t unlocked the Labirynth yet. I’m close though, so it may be worth it.

Also, Ocelots are cool, so this one time I may consider spending fate :)

Also, if you still have access to the University carousel (passing terms there), then this might be an option. It’s a grind, though.

I don’t, but even if I did I doubt I’d do it, a penalty to connected is a bit too much for a 50/50 chance, especially as I’m on my way to open a Salon :)
