Selling the location of The Nadir

I’m curious if anyone knows why the prices for selling the location are so very disparate.

1200 echoes. That is a LOT, like, to the point it feels…unfair. There’s no secondary benefit to siding with the devils besides that warm fuzzy feeling you get.

I heard it explained like this
Revs: are rich and want it a lot
Great game: rich and want it a lot
Urchins: poor and want it a lot (So they can’t pay as much)
Hell: rich and doesn’t really care. (They just like hunting for things)

And of course, failbetter is always a fan of nonsymmetrical game design.

Intrestingly enough, I’d say selling it to Hell is the most viable choice, per profit and ethics. My main decides to keep it to himself, though.

The master’s blood was just too tempting. In fairness, I got a ton of proscribed material from them afterward followed by betraying them to remove the Closest To quality. Bohemians forever! (unless rubbery become a possible closest to)

I thought the same thing, the master’s blood seems fun to have…but the issue is…I really don’t wanna advance the liberation of night >_>

Why on earth not? ;)

Because if there’s no law, there’s no loopholes and the calendar council are short-sighted idiots that are going to doom a whole lot of people and non-people because they got ahead of themselves.

I’d say M____r’s B___d is actually the least interesting of the bunch, as compared to the other rewards it is relatively easy to get via other channels. All of the rest require either boatloads of scraps or select special occasions.

Edit: CDO. Actually two actuallies in too close proximity don’t actually look too good.

I kinda doubt that the heads of the Calendar Council don’t know what the Liberation of Night would be like, they aren’t stupid and let’s be honest here, the Iron Republic exists in the Neath and clearly works.

I still wouldn’t support them, of course, I doubt they would use the power for anyone but themselves.

Since the Nadir story isn’t quite finished yet, it’s always possible that:

  1. Selling the Nadir will have consequences, depending on which group you sold it to.

  2. If you don’t sell it you might be able to benefit from it in a way that exceeds even the Revolutionary offer.

That would be awesome, because I just can’t bring myself to sell it. I love that darn Firebrand too much :P
