Hate also just plain out has really good writing. Content-wise Grieve is my favorite, but Hate? The choice of words and phrasings are some of the best in Fallen London
Salt is one that it’s worth asking for people’s interpretations, but imo won’t be satisfying for anti authoritarian character like yours

It’s getting around to that time of year. Poking my head in to see if anyone is planning on getting Saint Destin’s Candle the Hallowmas route. Also wondering if any madperson has finished using Mr. Eaten’s Calling card, and would be willing to pass it off to Dreaming Illfated before they begin their final journey.

Havent gotten into seeking yet. Not many other emails to hook accounts up to and I know I’d have trouble keeping up with them all. Bit of a shame, considering I could have gotten ‘watch the skies’ from this.
That being said, who wants to bet that going East with either ‘Who is salt’ or perhaps even ‘The Sun Beneath The Sea’ will offer us SMEN storylet/ending(possibly) that’s less cryptic then what we have now?

What exactly are you trying to ask? Are you referring to the locked zee destination that probably won’t get added for years? We definitely won’t be getting new SMEN content, endings or otherwise; FBG has explicitly said they won’t even change potential bugs as Alexis is gone.
I cannot recall who or where, but I remember someone in here asking for the text for throwing your not-Daughter into the Well for dear Cerise. I have that text echoed to my Seeker’s profile, in my signature, if anyone is sufficiently curious.
Additionally - I don’t mind about Destins, as I already have plans for that, but would anyone be willing to spare a Calling Card? I have rotten luck with enigmas. I’ll pass it along when I’m done, as is tradition.
After failing to create a Classic short story for the second time, I’ve come to the realization that it would be much less stressful and only a bit more time consuming to wait until Christmas and throw in a Noman.
So am I right in thinking the option to gain Destin’s candle together won’t be returning this Hallowmas? I didn’t see any mention of it in the post (maybe that’s deliberate).
I’d find it incredibly odd if they removed it out of nowhere, but I can’t go check as I don’t have Destin’s myself.
The storylet with that option is back.
Speaking of, it looks like this year needs even more confessions to get everything, and they cost more to grind. I may not be able to help your alt after all, BlabberingMat.

It’s very definitely non-canon. (Turns out you can echo text from any storynexus game to your journal, so anyone who makes a game can record silly things.)

My Seeker (at 77, just dithering about whether to finally go North) stumbled upon a bit of SMEN content in the “Attract a Visitor at Hallowmas” storylet, called “So hungry”. 2 per cent chance of success. Of course, I had to try it just once. And succeeded. Night-Whisper.
Seeking has to be broken.
