Seeking Fake Head of the Baptist

Ah, some assistance, please. There are three options when presented with the head: to eat it, kiss it, or depart immediately. While I’d rather not eat it, I’m not very clear from the wiki which is the one that will let me run off with it…

It looks to me like you need to select Depart Immediately, but don’t take my word for it, that’s just my interpretation of what the wiki says.

If you don’t end up with the head, let me know. I can send you a couple more so you can try all three options. I am not at a point in the game yet that I need them for anything, other than trying to get from Hedonist 14 to 15, and I still have 33 of the things.

Alas! I picked Depart Immediately, but no head was produced. I was afraid from looking at the wiki that it would send it back, which I can’t confirm, but in any case it did not end up with me. Thank you to Bloody Nora for trying, though. And if you’re willing to waste heads trying the other two, I’m game for that as well.

You are correct. In fleeing the table you left the head behind and it ended up in my possession once more. I’ll pop it back in the oven and give it another go.

Looking at the wiki I’m beginning to doubt if they can in fact be transferred in this way, but I’m happy to give it a try to find out.

Yeah, that’s starting to be my conclusion, too. I kissed it upon the lips this time, but apparently didn’t like it well enough to take it home with me. One more go, please, so we can conclusively disprove this? (And then I guess I’ll have to get to plant-cultivating.)

Certainly. My plant just produced another. So you can have a fresh head this time, instead of a mouldy one that’s been in a cupboard for four years.

Good lord, the description in that storylet was disgusting. Blech. Ewww. I don’t know what my character might be feeling, but Peckish is certainly the furthest thing from what I’m feeling right now.

However, I still have no head. So, I think this proves that serving them up like this doesn’t work. Thank you for your indulgence in determining that, though! And for the dinners.

You’re most welcome. A shame it did not work out, but at least now we know. I can pretend it was all for science and knowledge, rather than simply Nora trying to give someone food poisoning for the sheer devilment of it.

Oh, that’s really disappointing. Trying to lose Plant Battles is a LOT harder than the transfer the wiki claimed.

Sigh, I guess I’ll just grind thighs to make Verses of Counter-Creed then, even though they’re a lot more annoying to get.
