The Nervous Lawyer is in dire need of stories. This requires completing all Summer 2019 Exceptional Stories (The Garden Embassy, My Kingdom for a Pig, The Shallows), but should not take away an item that we got at the end of The Shallows.
That ending felt a little abrupt to me. The judge was an interesting character but I feel like we didn’t get to explore it.
I was able to try out two of the paths.
If you tell the Nervous Lawyer to changer careers rather than compromising her morals, you will get an Intriguer’s Compendium.
If you advise the Nervous Lawyer to do what is necessary to remain a lawyer, you will get a Fabulous Diamond.
As for the last path, it is still unknown to me.
I loved the epilogue. Straightforward, a great story, sympathetic characters (yes, I even liked the judge) and a great question at the heart of it: if you bend the law for compassion, are you a better person for doing so, or a worse one? I even liked that I wasn’t the one making a decision.
Also, bonus points for having the Lawyer explain her story clearly before we embarked on the epilogue. As I commented before, it’s easy to forget who the protagonist is, if the Season of… has ended months ago.

My husband chose the last path and ended up with a Fabulous Diamond

Went to check out the Fate page to see if these 3 stories were available…Looks like “The Garden Embassy” is there for purchase but is currently incorrectly listed as part of the Season of Celebrations in the description.
