Could anyone please clarify if I understand this correctly and you have no benefits going either of these two if tried the other one already?

Trying to rephrase: I had been so excited with new and shiny option of today’s token, but found no new benefits in Sunless Sea, just already known Navigator’s Boon.

Is that OK, or did I miss something?

Each option gives a different Metaquality. To get the most advantages for Sunless Sea you need to do both choice once.

I believe the game needs to update to refresh your metaqualities. Or it did a while ago.
