Hi there,
Have any measures been established here to reduce this quality if one so desires?

One ending to the Exceptional Story ‘Lost in Reflections’ resets it. There’s at least one other similarly hard to access method.
Wow, didn’t even know that!
Care to pop a PM regarding those options? I’m trying to get to 50 only by using the Flit card and I wouldn’t want the progress wiped.
After that I wouldn’t care! :D
I think it’s the ending where you side with the Masters, though I could be wrong as this is secondhand knowledge.
And the other similarly hard to access method? :)
One of the endings to the empress’ shadow. The zailor one maybe? But its not as powerful a decrease as the other.
I think I chose the zailor ending, so pretty sure it’s not that one.
I can confirm that in Lost in Reflections, betraying July to the Masters resets Advancing the Liberation of Night to 0. I’ll also warn you that the ES will make you lose a few cps in every stat, so if you’re a Paramount Presence, be warned.

Thanks so much! Appreciate the insight.

Is “Lost in Reflections” one of those Exceptional Stories where you get to a certain point and leave London until the story is complete? Or can you shelve it throughout and come back to it when you please?
I’m wondering whether or not the stat loss comes in during a trip away or not. Trying to decide whether to replay, take the stat loss before completing the story, then achieve my POSI specialization, then complete it eradiating my “AtLoN” level.
If that makes sense.

There is a portion of the story that takes place outside London, so I’d suggest finishing the story entirely before specializing just to be safe.
Thanks - although my initial thought was to experience the story to the point of the stat loss, then rebuild the stat, specialize, and then finish the story choosing the option to eradicate my AtLoN quality. But perhaps that won’t work out like I had thought.
I think there’s an ending in “Empress’ Shadow” that impacts this quality. Does anybody know if a certain ending simply reduces the AtLoN quality, or resets it to zero like one of the “Lost in Reflections” endings does?
From what I’ve heard, it only reduces it, not removing it. I haven’t experienced it myself so I can’t say.
Hmmm…thanks, Nero. I’ll have to dig into some of the Empress Shadow archive threads to see if I can uncover specifics.
Thanks!
Just to confirm, I want to have 50 revolutionary renown, and zero affect on Advancing the Liberation of Night. Can siding with the Masters in Lost in Reflection facilitate this?
Yes it can.
Brilliant, thank you!
